I should've known it wouldn't be that easy. I actually get a seat on an air conditioned train. Everything is going smoothly. We get to Bedford (last stop in Brooklyn) and the train sits there.
The conductor is mumbling something but no one understands him. A few minutes pass and more mumbling. Then through all the mumbles we here what no passenger wants to hear..."This train is out of service........due to an accident...this train is out of service...please get off the train and follow the instructions of the train crew"
All dazed and confuse we deboard...the L doesn't connect to many trains so we're standing here waiting for this imaginary train crew. NOTHING. NO ONE.
Hundreds of people on the platform a train in standing and no freaking announcements.
TRAPPED. My only way to get to the city is to go back home and catch the J or A to WTC. Really??
They aren't going to say ANYTHING!!!
I go to the IDIOT on the platform just chilling and playing with his umbrella and I'm like. What's going on? He's like train stuck...really you genius?? Where is the announcement or train crew to say something. His intelligent response that's on the conductor.
